Herstellung
Im Gegensatz zu Glasvasen oder Keramikvasen haben 3D-Druck-Vasen ein geringes Gewicht und sind überwiegend bruchsicher. Die Herstellung läuft darüber hinaus energiesparender ab. Während beim Brennen von Keramik oder dem Schmelzen von Glas sehr hohe Temperaturen von über 1000° C benötigt werden, beträgt die Temperatur beim 3D-Druck 200°C auf punktgenau kleiner Stelle.
Optisch unterscheiden sich die Vasen ebenfalls von klassischen Vasen aus den Werkstoffen Glas oder Keramik. Durch das moderne Herstellungsverfahren lassen sich Formen und Strukturen umsetzen, die es so bisher nicht gab.
